1. siddartha 2. I chose it because eastern beliefs have always interested me, and in particular I love learning of Gandhi and the Buddha and those who were peaceful. I also follow somewhat of a taoistic mentallity and just overall want to read it. I feel it will be a good book for me based on the fact that its a story of a boy with everything to nothing, everything then Choosing nothing and gaining a wisdom and happiness unlike most. Its appealing to me more then most things. Plus, its out of my usual genre choice which is also interesting to me.
